COSMETIC EYEBROW PRE-APPOINTMENT INFORMATION

What is Microblading Technique?

Microblading semi-permanent makeup is an alternative to machine permanent makeup.

Microblading is a manual hand method that allows you to precisely implant the pigments into the skin. Immediately after the procedure, the pigments in the skin appear very natural with crisp hair strokes, after a few days the pigment will fade by 30%to 50% to make the eyebrows look very natural and not harsh. Microblading lasts around 10-18 months depending on skin type.

What is Combination Technique?

Combination Technique is the use of 2 techniques, Microblading and Ombre Shading.

This mimics the hair strokes while also giving a fuller look with the use of the shading using semi-permanent pigment. The use of both techniques allows the eyebrow to look natural with a bit of a powdered makeup look, after a few days the pigment will fade by 30% to 50% to make the eyebrows look very natural and not block like. Combination Technique lasts around 18-24 months depending on skin type.

What is Ombre Shading?

Ombre Shading Technique is the use of shading, using semi-permanent pigment, behind a natural brow to add a powdered makeup look without adding any hair strokes.

This Technique will fade after a few days by 30% to 50% to make the eyebrows not look block like and still natural looking and will last around 18-24 months depending on skin type.

Who Should Avoid Microblading or Cosmetic Tattooing Procedures?

Those prone to keloids or post-inflammatory hypo pigmentation. Because microbial ding punctures the skin as we add ink/pigments, we cannot work with clients with these conditions.

If you have a transmittable blood disease such as HIV or Hepatitis.

If you have had botox or fillers in that area. Depending on the timing, we recommend to get Microblading first. Otherwise check with the doctor or wait 4 weeks before and 4 after the treatment before getting bottom or fillers.

Patients undergoing chemotherapy. Although Microblading is great for restoring eyebrows, we would require a doctor’s note in order to perform the procedure for anyone undergoing chemotherapy.

If you have any kind of skin condition on or near the eyebrows. This includes eczema, shingles, rashes, or anything else near eyebrows.

Those with oily skin. Those with extremely oily skin are unfortunately not good candidates for Microblading. Those with less oily or combination skin, may consider a Microblading a Microblading plus shading combo.

Those with a dark pre-existing eyebrow tattoo or permanent makeup. The tattoo or permanent makeup must be light enough to draw hair-strokes.

Those with allergies to alcohol or numbing agents.

Children. Microblading is for adults only. We do not recommend Mcrobialing for anyone under the age of 18.

If during a pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
